EDIT: The surgery was successful, and thanks to all of your suggestions (and some serious pain killers), I’m well on my way to recovery. Hooray!! :)

I ask this question to my fellow team members almost every day. Usually, they’re not very helpful because they bring their own lunch or they suggest things that are much too healthy. I’m a junk food kind of person ;-).

But tomorrow - yes Valentines day - I’m getting all of my wisdom teeth extracted. OUCH!! So I’m asking you for suggestions of what I can have for lunch after I get them out.

I’ve already got bananas and mashed potatoes on my list, so I’m hoping you can come up with some good suggetions.

Wish me luck, and I’ll see you all next week, minus 4 of my teeth :-(

Happy emailing!!

Blog update…

So, nothing ever goes quite as planned. And if you were trying to access the blog this afternoon, you may have seen the “undergoing maintenance” page. And of course it took much longer than I would have liked. But I guess it just happens sometimes.

So what’s new?
Well I upgraded to the latest version of the blog software and changed the template that we were using. So if you are a regular visitor to the blog you might notice some changes to the layout.

We’re also going to be adding some tips to the blog. You can see where they will live from the new pages in the top navigation. Me and other team members (oh, and I think we’ll be looking to get some tips from you too) will be adding tips to help you get the best out of Yahoo! Mail. So stay tuned for that.

I hope you like the new look. Please let me know by leaving a comment.
As always… Happy Emailing

Attachments – another way

Do you send a lot of attachments with your email? Then here’s a quick tip that I know you’ll like. When you need to add an attachment (photos, documents, etc.) to an email message while using Yahoo! Mail Beta, do you normally add the attachment as the last step? For example, you write the whole message and then you add the attachment.

Well, why don’t you give this a try…
Try doing it the complete opposite way. Upload your attachments first before you write your message. Then, after you’re done attaching, write your email. Try it this way just once, and you’ll never go back to the old way.

Happy emailing!
