Same issue as others with Mac, Leopard and Safari.

The Login won't work for mail. And I haven't screwed up my ID or password! As usually, Yahoo has put Mac users someplace behind the PC world.

Hi, congratulations on the security of your e-mail program , in fact it is so secure I have never yet been able to read any e-mail with it , if it wasn't for outlook they would remain there for ever . No matter how I try to sign in it will never let me in . PGD.

In order to effectively use safari for windows to access yahoomail servers, you have to install javascipt from www.java.com and for mozilla firefox, my favorite, you might want to install windows service pack comaptible to your PC from microsoft website. It does really work with improved speed and graphics as well.
If you got the concepts of FTP and HTTP, yahoo servers incoming are POP3 pop.mail.yahoo.com - port 110 and outgoing are SMTP smtp.mail.yahoo.com - port 25

I still have problems deleting and 'spamming' emails occasionally, and other functions then also fail to respond.

I am using the correct OS and safari versions.

Maybe it is just me

Whenever I want to do anything with contacts I have to go back the classic mail. You need to sort out the contacts list. Its much better in the old version.

Has anyone else had a problem with the performance of Yahoo Mail recently. I keep finding that:
- it loses its connection to the Yahoo servers and is unable to display messages that are in my Inbox;
- it is unable to send a message; and
- often it cannot load the Yahoo Mail service after I have correclty logged in.

If you have found this do you have an answer?
