The next time you compose keep your eyes peeled for a little “present” from the Mail Beta team. Every once in a while, when you are composing an email you might see an ad that looks a little like this:

Draggable Liam

If you click and drag that Liam from the ad over to the email you’re composing it will add that Liam to your message.

There are three Liam’s to collect and share with your friends at the moment. There’s the boxer Liam pictured above and two others you’ll have to find on your own. So send a load of emails and see if you can find them all.

Happy Emailing

    Hallow Yahoo guys,

You are just my everything, I may say. Your service is growing perfect at every dawn.
The storage space you offer, has enabled me to re-read my 3 years old emails. Such emails are reserved for reference and fun!!!
    Go on, keep it up.
Lead the way and others follow.

hi, its great to offer unlimited storage, but you also have anti abuse measures which means if someones email account is using a lot more than anyone elses they will be suspended or deleted even if its not their fault

i intend to keep my yahoo mail account below a few gigabytes even though you say its unlimited because we both know that if my account uses a terrabyte of space on your storage arrays your not going to be happy. even if they are all perfectly legitimate.

the point of my comment is to ask that you provide in the options area of the mail system a counter of how many mb / gb / tb / pb we are using. :)

    thanks

I would like to know if you ALLOW people to use your services for people
who are corrupt - e.g. to send SCAM e-mails?

I have just received one which I think is scam, and I would like to know if
you have any way of knowing…..

If you e-mail me I will send you a copy of this….

    Hi Freda,
If you feel like it is a scam then you should take action and delete it, or report it as spam. I’ve actually posted a blog on how best to deal with spam emails. You can read it here: http://ymailuk.com/blog1/2007/05/11/look-what%e2%80%99s-new%e2%80%a6-part-1/. By reporting spam emails through the product, we will be able to deal with it. You can also send it to us via our abuse reporting tool which you can find here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/uk/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/abuse/general.html. If you report the mail via the form, please include all the headers of the mail so we can best deal with the issue.
    Thanks,
