Where in the world?
June 7th, 2007
It’s always nice to catch a glimpse of someone using Yahoo! Mail when I least expect it. This past weekend I was walking around terminal 3 at Heathrow airport, waiting (somewhat) patiently for my delayed flight and I happened to see someone checking their Yahoo! Mail from one of the Wi-fi hot-spots.
Now I know that the airport is not such a terribly unusual place to be checking email, but that got me to thinking all the places I’ve checked my Yahoo! Mail over the years. I’ve been in a couple of New York City parks with public wi-fi hotspots (I particularly like Bryant Park). One of my favourite places was a beach bungalow place on Ko Pha-Ngan an island in the south of Thailand.
I’d like to hear some fun/unusual places that you’ve checked your Yahoo! Mail. Leave a comment and let us all know.
Happy emailing.

Andrew, Your new Yahoo Beta will be great when the response for typing will be OK. I just installed new connection to the network and ….. for a while was afraid that something wrong with my new line or new laptop. Fortunately have as well other account and was able to check that this slowing down or luck of response for keys is only when using NEW BETA YAHOO.
Regards…. Anna

Yahoo beta is awfully buggy and not very responsive. Until that’s resolved boast all you like.
